In the spirit of the Parish year of the Eucharistic Revival we would like everyone to again participate in the Traveling Eucharistic Rosary Congress (October 7-13, 2023)
Seven days of Eucharistic Adoration and an In Intentional Rosary prayed aloud every hour, day and night for the Week throughout the Diocese of Shreveport.
the mission is to bring every soul to believe in and to love deeply Jesus Christ in the Eucharist through Mary and the Rosary.
The goal of the week is each of our parishes throughout the diocese would offer times of Eucharistic Adoration and praying the Rosary aloud in front of the Blessed Sacrament in the Monstrance.
The Traveling Eucharistic Rosary Congress will begin Saturday, October 7 at St. Jude Church, with their First Saturday Mass at 9:30 am, Mass following at 10:00 am., after Mass they will begin Eucharistic Adoration and they will pray their first hourly Rosary. The parish plans to offer Adoration and praying the Rosary hourly until midnight. Adoration will be suspended for the 5:00 pm vigil Mass. Adoration and the Rosary will resume following Mass until midnight. St. Jude will continue with the Traveling Eucharistic Rosary Congress on Wednesday, October 11 during their scheduled Eucharistic Adoration from 7:30 am-6:45 pm.
St. Joseph in Shreveport will offer their Perpetual Adoration throughout the week of October 7-13, adding the recitation of the Rosary aloud hourly.
The week will end in Ruston at St. Thomas Aquinas where they will offer 24 hours of Eucharistic Adoration from October 13-14.
